I have been a customer of Pure for many years and have had more Pure cashmere sweaters than I care to think. I ordered the boyfriend cardigan in blond because it is a colour which is useful to me and so much Pure knitwear these days is in grey, pale pink, blue or navy, none of which I can wear, or has Dolman sleeves, a style which does not suit me, and I have not bought anything from Pure for some time. I ordered it on line at a weekend, expecting it by about Friday the following week. On Monday Evri were expecting to receive the parcel. By Friday Evri were still expecting to receive the parcel so I rang Pure. They said my order was on hold, but could not explain why. They had taken my money. I was told that the order was put through again. I asked if this meant that I could expect to receive the goods by the following Friday, and I was told probably before. Again, nothing happened, so I rang again, and said I would have preferred Royal Mail to Evri. I was told the order could be despatched by Royal Mail, so it still had not been sent. It finally arrived the following week. Yes, it is ok. I like the colour, and to some extent the style. I have three other Pure boyfriend cardigans which I have bought in previous years, and this is several inches shorter than the others. Pity, I will keep it, but it will never be as stylish as the longer versions. I would prefer to pay an economic price than to find I can only buy an inferior product because the price is considered too high to offer the original product. I doubt whether I will be buying many more.

I purchased the boyfriend cardigan in Midnight Navy having purchased , a few years ago, the boyfriend cardigan in a camel colour in the same size. The difference in both size and quality is very noticeable. The cashmere is much thinner and has no real pile; it looks and feels closer to good quality merino wool. The cardigan is shorter and narrower than the previous version and produced elsewhere. I was originally thinking of buying another in a different colour but will not now.
The gassato cardigan I also bought is beautiful.
